Celestron spotting scopes
« on: February 02, 2006, 01:58:24 AM »
Anybody here use the Celestron Ultima spotting scopes? I looked at them last year at SHOT and they really look good. And the price is right. They're not commonly available from suppliers of hunting related optics, but are out there. I see Champion Shooters has added them to their line. So, if you have any experience with them, what are your comments? I'm thinking about the 80MM one for using in highpower silhouette matches.

I've got the 80mm. Mounted it on a Bogen tripod so it's easier to adjust.
Nice spotter for the money.

The one with ED glass is very good but only comes with the angled eyepiece.
