TANG SIGHT PROBLEM
« on: February 02, 2006, 11:20:12 AM »
:?  :-)
I WASN'T SURE WHICH FORUM TO PLACE THIS IN AND SINCE I FIGURED MORE SSR SHOOTERS USED TANG SIGHTS THAN SOME OF THE OTHERS I DECIDED TO DROP IT HERE FOR THE TIME BEING.
I HAVE AN LYMAN FOLD DOWN TANG SIGHT MOUNTED ON MY MARLIN LEVER GUN (A 45-70).  I WEAR GLASSES AND THE RECOIL OF THE RIFLE HAS CAUSED SEVERAL NASTY SCRATCHES TO THE RIGHT LENSE.  I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCED/AND OR SOLVED A SIMILAR PROBLEM AND IF SO COULD YOU SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS FOR A SOLUTION HERE.
                                                              THANKS,    DON
Temper is a quality that at a critical moment brings out the best in steel and the worst in people.
