I've got a 9 shot break-up action 22lr revolver made my H&R and it says "sportsman" i believe on the barrel.I'm 47 and i inherited this revolver from my dad and im told he inherited from his dad.How old is this pistol and whats its worth ?Any help is appreciated.If needed i'll post guns s/n later.The front sight is a tiny brass blade and the rear sights are part of the mechanism used to break open the revolver to load it.It has a spring loaded ejecter that pops out the unused cartridges all at the same time.

Do a google search for harrington & richardson sportsman, you'll get lots of hits, some will give you some idea of its history. This was the best that I looked at...
