I pick up my new Stevens 200 in .223 next week. I'm having difficulty trying to decide which scope to put on it. Would 6 power be too much at close range off a blind? Or would 16 power not be enough for longer shots? Granted the .223 is not an extremely long range cartridge. But a high power upper end would still be advantageous? I'm mostly worried about 6 power being too much at short distances. Any opinions? Scope brand suggestions would also be appreciated. Not too expensive tho.
