Shotshell Buffers...
« on: February 04, 2006, 07:35:54 AM »
I used to use Winchester Super Grex, but I don't think it is available anymore.  I need some names of other buffers so I can do searches on websites (Midsouth, Midway, etc).  I don't know when manufactures will put stuff in their catalogs by item rather than manufacture.  Thanks...BCB

Ballistic Products Co. is about the only source I'm aware of these days for the stuff. They have loading data for use of it also. I think this link will get you there.

Thanks Graybeard.

I went to their website and checked the prices.  Not too bad, but the shipping kills (pun intended) ya!  I wish some gunstore in my area handled it.  Some reloading supplies are getting difficult to come by anymore.  Guess I should have purchased several more containers of Super Grex when it was available...BCB

You mentioned Midway - they carry Ballistic Products buffers, so if you order from them, adding the buffer wouldn't be much extra shipping.

Precision Reloading had quite a few different buffers for different usages.
