Do you have a need for a .22 Hornet? From reading some of your posts, it seems that you have most of your bases covered.

Yup, know what you mean about the looks.  I'm having my 7.5" barrel cut back to 5.5", grip rounded, and hopefully the topstrap softened.  The factory front sight is a bad idea as well, ugly and ramped on the wrong side - damned thing lights up like a neon sign in sunlight.  Mine is a .45LC, hoping to snag a .45ACP cylinder for plinking fun with cheap factory ammo.

So back at the topic at hand.... Lloyd, what about something totally different like .22 Hornet? Or .218 Bee? I believe you have covered the big bore conversion spectrum already right?

the .22s dont do alot for me but a 3220 or 3840 on an old model blackhawk or a bearcat in .32 mag are on my wish list. Another project id like to have is a rehawk alpine in 50ae. two more on my wish list are a L frame smith in 41special and a gp100 in 10mm.. Now there im done dreaming for today.

I am really hot for a stainless SSS converted to a Bisley and in .32mag. I have the donor SSS and the Bisley parts now I need the money. I will probally have Clements do my conversion or Jim Stroh.

I would like a stainless Bearcat too I don't think that I'd re chamber it though.

I think what Lloyd is saying is that once you go big, you never go back.  Hmmmm, that sounds a lot like another saying I have heard.  I think after the 475's and such, then the big bore 'specials' become interesting again.  But it sure is tough to go back to a little bullet.  44 Man

I hear ya .44. I haven't ventured past .44Mag and .45LC yet but I'd like too. My wife like's me to buy guns that she can shoot too. I'd really like to get her own Bearcat. She likes the looks of the ones in stainless steel. I think it would be nice to get her one of those with some nice grips and we would be all set when we go to the range. Someday I will buy a bruiser wheel gun.

.44,

How's things up your way? Been to Jay's lately? I need to talk my wife into a road trip up your way so we can stop at Jay's. She really likes stopping there on the way to the Mighty Mac. Jay's is smart for stocking women's clothing. Makes it easier to get her to go there.  :-) Makes it nicer for both of us.

I would too if I lived up that way. We have two Gander Mountains in the area and they are nice but they are no Jay's Sporting Goods by any means. Maybe it is just as well they are so far away. If they were closer I'd be up to my hind end in credit card debt too!
