Has anyone ever used/installed barrel extensions for the super 14" to make it a 16" legal rifle. I know they must be welded on for legal reasons. I guess it would be best to tig weld them for heat reasons and looks. Or would mig welding work too. I was just wondering if anyone has put them on before and how they worked. I have a 14" barrel that I do not use anymore. But the wife would love to use it in a carbine. Thought I could save the cost of a new custom barrel.
