Dezertyote,
YYYOW!!!!!!!  If that guy was outside my sleeping bag, there would be a big stink inside the sleeping bag. :(  A six footer IS a monster.  Frankly, a 4 foot Water Moccasin is more than I want to deal with.  I have roamed the woods and creekbanks since my pre-teen years and I have seen my fair share of venomous snakes and had a few close encounters,  but those things still SCARE ME TO DEATH !!!!!!

The only good pit viper is a dead pit viper.

What state would offer the best opportunity to bag a Sasquatch?  Heard that Oregon has banned Sasquatch hunting so that's out.
When I die I want to go like my grandfather did - in his sleep.  Not like the passengers in his car.

I've been hunting Liberals for the last few months.
I managed to bag one in my home riding, but missed the guy with the big rack. Close though.

I wish I could afford the time and money to hunt ALL the states so I could actually know the answer to this.

I'd like to see Michigan adopt the 2.5 month RIFLE deer season with one buck/doe per day here in Michigan like Alabama.
The deer up here are ,no joke, at NUISANCE levels, but the DNR steadfastly REFUSES to lengthen the rifle season from the first two weeks of November, thus we have large numbers of car/deer incidents. Our season has been this date/length for the last 50+ years.
Unfortunately the BOW hunters get 2.5 months to hunt deer (1 month prior to rifle season & 1.5 months after), thus they not only get a huge season, but the pick of the herd.
Go MAGNUM/MAX LOAD or GO HOME !
Always use MUCH more gun than the minimum required to do the job.

It does not get much better than here. Deer, Elk, Antelope, Mountain Goat, Big Horn Sheep  The latter two once in a life time. Then there are the birds, Upland and waterfowl. Sharp Tail Grouse, and Hungarian Partridge. Ducks and geese. Why we even have Quail in a small pocket of the State. Did I mention Turkey we have them two.

Then of course there are the prairie dogs, Badgers, fox, and coyote.

All you have to do is go find them. There is lots of good public land, mostly over looked by residents and nonresidents alike.

This paradise comes at a price. There is no way to suger coat winter. This past January there was a 100 degree difference between the temperature in Aberdeen and the temperature in West Palm Beach Florida. It does cut down the riff-raff though.
