I know that this is pretty short notice, but have been talking with the good folk from the Desert Marksman Rendezvous about possibly having a mortar shoot at their upcoming rondezvous. Not something they have ever done before but have agreed to give it a try. Will be on Sat Mar 18th at their range located near Lancaster, Ca. No entry fee for the mortar event, but they will probably require some sort of registration fee.... don't know for sure yet. Guessing somewhere between $5.00 and $20.00. 10 shots at somewhere between 75 and 125 yards. No prizes other than bragging rights.
