Just wondering. I came across some type metal (not lynotype) the other day for $33 per 50LBS.
Is this a good price and whats the right mix with WW lead?

thats .66 a pound I can get lynotype for .30 a pound or 50# for 15.00

id buy it lynotype is getting hard to find and its going to get harder. Ive paid anywhere from 30cents a lb to 75 cents a lb for it

Thanks for the help. I think I will buy it from some of the prices I have been seeing around.
I thought type metal was higher in tin and antimoney and was why it cost more? Wouldn't you use, say half the amount that you would for linotype?
