2006 Prairie Dog Shooters
« on: February 09, 2006, 11:52:19 AM »
OK guys.  I need to get an idea who is wanting to come out.  I'm assuming we still want to do this around the same time of year as we did last year.  I may or may not be here, but I will have something set up one way or another.  I will most likely limit the amount of people to around 25 since I may not be here when it happens.

Please post if you are a definate or a maybe.  Once you've posted, don't post again in this tread.  It gets too confusing when people have multiple posts.

Put me down as a yes. Only if my health stops me will I not show. This time I hope to have Mrs. GB with me. Don't count her as an extra shooter tho. If she does any it will be with my gun with me spotting. If Mike and DJ come again as I'm sure they will maybe Faye and DJ can keep each other company some of the time.

Thanks Marv

DJ has something to send you as soon as she finishes it, but she has been been at her mothers home taking care of her thru some operations.

DJ hopes to come, but this time she will be riding with a different group each morning and afternoon to make sure we have plenty of photos of everyone.  Also we need to pick a time when everyone is present for a GROUP photo.

DJ sure enjoyed telling her two brothers over and over (both Colonels in the army, one retired) about her 9 Pdogs with 8 shots all over 200 yards.  They believed that but not the 1,408 Pdog prisoners we brought back to Virginia.

Babe915, we all stayed at the same motel last year, worked out good.  The Owner said no problem next year.

Need hard dates Mrs. Warf has a big trip planned for our wedding anniversary, something about the Caribbean.

My 2 rifle projects should be almost done by the end of April, and ready to go if all goes well.

I'm a yes unless the Pdog shoot is same week of our trip.

We sure will miss Mitch and his Pdog suit...

Mitch, can I borrow your professional spotter?

DJ just called me, she is already excited about the trip, she said the men that were there last year were of the finest type, the kind that this country needs more of.  She always says what she thinks.  DJ is glad Mrs GB will attend.

I just hope we all will be healthy enough to go.

I'm just north of Ft. Worth and can make it this summer.  I have a pop up camper that I'd like to stay in while I'm there.  Will that be a problem ?

Yes for me.

Have you decided on a definite date?  I live in N. Okla and Hooker is not that far.  Just need to verify dates to see if I can participate.  Love to shoot those dogs!

I know that Wes has been busy as of late but was also wondering if he has had any time to get started on this thing , i start working 6 / 10s monday and it will go to 7 / 12s in a few weeks .

This will make sure that i have plenty of money for this trip , it is something that i have wanted to do for many years and now have the chance so i will not miss it .

I do relize that there is alot involved in setting this up , so i would like to thank all that are working on it . and if there is anything that i can do from this end just let me know as i would be glad to help any way i can .
