I have a 14'' barrel on order chambered in 25-35 Winchester.  I'm trying to decide on a scope for it.  I'm leaning on a Bushnell Trophy Handgun Scope 2X6 veriable.  Any comments or recommendations.  Thanks.

Gabby I have one on my .223, and love it, thinking about getting another one for an up come project, 6mmBR on a Encore. :D

Gabby, first off welcome. I also have 2 of the Bushnell 2X6X32 scopes. One is on my S&W 460 Mag and the other was on my 454 Casull TC Encore. They work great.  :D

I have the Bushnell on three of my barrels. In my opinion they are a much better scope than the three on my other barrels. Weaver, Simmons, T/C.

Redhawk,

Do you use the Bushnell trophy or the 3200 elite scopes for your 460 and 454?  Is the Elite a better scope than the trophy or are they pretty much the same? Also, I was thinking about either the bushnell or the T/C. 2 1/2 - 7. Which would be the better scope?

hoser1268, I use the trophy. I have not had a problem with them at all. I have even used them on my 500 Mag.  The Elite may be better but the trophy has worked for me.  I would go with the Bushnell. JMHO  :D

Thanks Redhawk1.  I'm going to give the bushnell a try. If it can hold up to that kind of recoil then it's worth a try. Especially for the price.

The Trophy handgun scopes IMO are excellent. I have had no less than 5 of them. All have been excellent. I even had one on a 308 Encore with no
problem what so ever. I have found one hand gun scope that i like a little better and that is a S&W 1.5x6 that are now no longer made. The thing I like better is that they are slightly smaller and are parallax adjusted to 50yds. There seems to be less movement of the reticule when moving my
head side to side or up and down. For the money the trophy is hard to beat.

Well, I went with the 2-6 trophy.  It is a nice scope. My only complaint is that I wish it had a little shorter ER.  I have to extend a little farther that my arms would like.  I have a TC scope on my contender and the ER is really short.  I can see clearly with the scope about 10 "'s away.  I'm thinking about getting another.

Bushnel Trophy 2 - 6 X

After hearing all you guys and others rant and rave over the Trophy 2-6 Handgun scope, I ordered one from Midway.  It came today and I'm thoroughly impressed with it.

I can't wait to mount it on a barrel and test it.  If it ever stops raining here in California, I may get to play with it.

I had the same problem with a Trophy 2-6X scope, guess my arms are too short.
