I just ordered my first handi in hornet from wallyworld, after four days I got a call saying they were out of stock. I just read the sticky that said to verify the stock status before ordering, am I screwed?

Welcome aboard little bill.
I quess it all depends on how long you mind waiting. I checked out the Sports South site and they DO show the super lite 22 hornet in stock. That's a 20" barrel and synthetic stocks. Maybe someone else could chime in and give you and idea how the Super Lite 22H shoots. I don't have any experience with that. Good Luck.

I go to the super search box on the left and scroll down to H&R 1871 and it shows the whole list and their status. Then you will know when you order from Wally World if it will be on B/O.

There's a fella on RFC named Vincent who bought a Superlight youth hornet for his daughter, says it's extremely accurate, so much so, he loves to shoot it, too!!

Been thinkin' of going that route myself. Then sending it off for a 357 barrel. Would make a great shooter. I Think!

Hope this helps. Maybe you can cancel and re-order the super light.

I have a superlight hornet it shoots good.
It loves the Winchester black box ammo but I can't afford that stuff so I'm shooting a max load of Lil' gun behind the Hornadt 35-gn vmax, and getting MOA groups. I've prepped the cases by sizing, trimming to min. length and deburring the flash holes.
Good luck!
