lubeless rifle dies?

I was looking at lee duelux rifle dies in a magazine, and part of the ad said case lube was not required. Is this "fer real"?

I read that also, I think they are refering to the collet die that only sizes the neck. I believe the deluxe set includes the ful lengh sizing die and collet die.

Yep , I have some of the Lee deluxe sets , They have both dies and you have to lube when using the FL sizer but not the collet , I put just a dab of lube on them any way.
Just can't teach an old dog new tricks i guess . :wink:

As long as you don;t mind stuck cases, you don't need to use lube
All kidding aside, CH makes some very nice dies and will coat them with TiN (I think) and using lube is then an option. I have a few sets like this, I still use a little lube just to make things go faster, but its about the same as the carbide pistol dies. No lube needed, but it will make everything that much faster and easier.

The Lee delux dies have both the full length resizer ( need lube) and the collet die (neck sizes) and this one doesn't need lube. I have a set in .270 win and like them.
