Just curious if anyone has any experience with the remanufactured .223 ammo from Black Hills Ammunition. I bought the 52 gr. match hp with moly coating. I was also wondering about the myth of moly coating messing with your barrel.

They build good ammo. The only thing I have heard about the Moly coating was a friend of mine said its about as hard to clean out the Moly as it is to clean out lead and copper fouling. I have never used very many coated bullets so I can't really confirm that.

There are at least 2 threads on this forum about case separations using Black Hills reman ammo, they use brass that's been fired in military firearms. Some have reported it being very accurate, but I don't know if it's worth it when Win white box costs less and shoots great. I can't get the search to work, or I'd post a couple of the previous threads for ya.

except for those few case separations all i hear about it is praises. good stuff i shoot the 308 black hills ina bolt gun , shoots great.
