Hakko used to make them, but they're out of business and S&W doesn't market them any more, but you'll still find them for sale new at some retailers like CDNN.

I have a S&W 3X9X40 on my deer rifle and it's every bit as good as my Elite 3200. It's only draw back is it's on the heavy side. I bought it from CDNN for around $100 as a back-up scope for my Elite. I ended up using it as the primary because it's built like a tank and is fantastic in low light. S&W no longer imports them so I don't know if S&W will service them. Over 3 years of hunting and the POI has not change. I can't say that about my 2 Elites one had to go back because it won't hold POI. The S&W scope was made in Japan and retailed for a whole lot more then $100.
