muzzleloader?
« on: February 16, 2006, 11:12:18 AM »
Does anyone make a muzzleloader barrel for the G2 pistol, I know they have them for the encore, but i got rid of mine to get a G2.
And if they have one or it can be made, what would be a good length, i was thinking 12-14.

Are these gonic barrels people have mentioned for the carbine or the pistol, and are they still in business cant find a working link to a website at all.

Thanks in advance

Dave

Thompson makes them for the G2. They are in the current catalog.

Sorry, I am thinking rifle barrels.

I have a .50 cal. Gonic barrel for my Contenders.  It is a 15".  The bore is very tight and I can only use lead projectiles of exactly fifty caliber.  However, it takes 209 primers, is rated for magnum loads, is stainless and shoots real well.  I have toyed with the idea of selling it, but don't know if I'd ever find another if I wanted to replace it.  I have been told that the original founder of Gonic Arms has died and that I relative tried to run the business but failed.  I got a phone number, but have had no luck contacting him.  If anyone has information I'd like to hear.
