I have an Iver Johnson 380 Pony. It is a US border Patrol Commemorative. The gun is blued with gold inlay and cherry grips. It's inlay reads 1924-U.S. BORDER PATROL-1984. The gun came in a lined laser engaved walnut box. I can't seem to find any info about this gun. If anyone knows anything about this gun, info would be greatly appreciated.

Pony .380 Automatic
Calibre .380 Automatic. 6-shot magazine. 3.1" barrel. 6.1" overall. Blue, matte, or nickel finish. Weight 20 oz. Wooden grips. Smallest of the locked breech automatics. Made from 1982 to 1988.
This gun was originally designed by Star as the Model 'DK' Starfire. Later marketed by Firearms International, who began manufacturing it in the U.S. as the 'FI Model D'. Later, Colt briefly marketed the FI- made version as the Colt Pony, before IJ-AMAC purchased the tooling and began manufacturing the gun in Jacksonville, AR, as the IJ Pony.

Hard to give you a value without knowing the condition, but I'd ESTIMATE somewhere around $350 .

IJ of that period was owned by the man who now owns Henry.
