I have a CVA buckhorn and I put a Redfield 3x9 on it.
Scope cost more than the gun but its very accurate. :D

Years ago I lived in a shotgun county in NY. I bought a $25 Tasco (Pronghorn 2x 20mm) for my shotgun and never used it. I eventually mounted it on my $69 Staghorn (Midway sale). Once sighted in, very accurate ...This rig had been excellent on deer, and now only shoots at deer. I have high end Leupold, Weaver, Redfield on other deer rifles.
El cheapo scope and Staghorn, have really reinforced for me.....It's all about hunting!!!
