:evil:Iraq's Minisiter of Misinformation, or what ever he's called, is a total moron! Does he not know that the whole world is watching? We have imbedded reporters on every one of our missions! 24-hour televised coverage of the war! Boy, the reporters are earning their pay now! But the Iraqi officials went on TV last night and tried to tell the Iraq and the rest of the world that not only are we evil murderers, but we are kidnapping citizens off the streets, our aircraft are being shot down, Iraq is inflicting major casualties on our troops, that the Iraqi troops are holding fast and staying strong (excuse me?!) and that we are killing hundreds of civilians! Thank God we are taping this! I wish we could make sure that the Iraqi people were able to see it, to help them to understand that we ARE their friends, and their day of liberation IS coming!

I've seen reports and video of Iraqi civilians greeting our troops as liberators. This is not by any means universal, there are reports of our troops being fired upon by people dressed as civilians but this was expected since al Queda was reported to be in Bagdad.

It's always awed me that people can detect bull____ even when they are in totalitarian countries where the the government spoonfeeds the populace. But they can.
