I have a Schmidt & Bender 1.25-4x20 (non-illuminated), and it is excellent even under moonlight.  However at the magnification and objective lens diameters comparable to the Leupold LPS series, which are selling for around $1000, you would be looking at spending from $600 to over a $1000 more for a comparably sized Schmidt & Bender.

From looking through several friends Zeiss Diavaris, Swarovskis, and Leupold VX IIIs, I am not sure the price difference is justified, although I do think my Schmidt & Bender, is brighter and sharper, of course I had already bought it so it had to be.

Call Jon or Tammi at the Optics Zone, they are knowledgeable and will give you good advice plus regardless of choice give you an excellent price.
