I bought a .410 Pardner at Bass Pro Shops in Vaughn near Toronto this fall to tag along on our deer hunt. I figured we might get some grouse while we are at it. I paid $159.00 Canadian for it. It is a really a respectable piece of work for the money, locks up tight and fit and finish is great. Happy with the purchase.

I still think I would like to take 2" off one of those and make it a 'choke free' slug gun. I'll get around to it one of these days. If the results are good, then I will buy a brand new one...what am I saying, either way I am gonna get a brand new one. I can't help myself. I'm sick, Pardner Pannick, Topper Trauma, Handi-Holic.....

Someone else on here did pretty much what cookieman suggested and got an eight-pointer this year, IIRC.

Short yardage + .410 = good hunting

I KNOW! There ain't no cure. You can only treat the symtoms with "Buy Another Pard/Handi and go shooting" . Quick should write a book so that all the NON-Shooting wives completely understand just what it is that we deal with every day. LOL
