Been visiting a while and enjoying the forums so decided to join. Bought a handi in .223 late last year. Wind has blown so much I have shot it very little. Waiting on the weather to improve.

Welcome!   Hey, at least you only have the wind...add our cold temps and then you really won't want to get out.  -25 to -40 wind chills keeps me pretty close to this keyboard, some days.

welcome old&slow, you will like your 223 that was the first handi i bought. i have took over 200 ground hogs with mine shoots like a dream, wood stock 6-24x44 simmons scope and harris bipod $390.00 i have  rem 700 223 $560.00 i like my handi better. :D

datil, you may be older but if you're slower than me then you better drive up a stick to see if you're still moving.  i came from the south plains of TX along time ago but I still can't forget those sandstorms.
