Fixing up an old Bear
« on: February 19, 2006, 01:30:23 PM »
I'm thinking about fixing up an old(very old) bear compound bow.  It needs a new arrow rest, and I'm wondering what would be quiet, small(so it won't catch on brush), and simple. I don't want anything that will obstruct my view of the arrow because I like to shoot instinctivly.  I'm new to compound shooting. Should I get heavier arrows because it shoots so slow to give it some extra momentum? Or lighter ones to get extra speed?
