have any of you guys seen the new left handed browning bar short and long trac rifles those look realy cool i have always wanted a semi auto hunting rifle but for obvious reasons never did by one. think iam going to get mine in 308win or 300wsm btw there on the 2006 shot show page on brownings websight. what caliber will your be?

Well I somehow doubt that they will chamber for it. But if I had my dream of all dreams it would be a 358 Winchester. Second choice would be the 338 Federal.

:-D i agree that would be very cool i wish they would chamber it for 450 marlin or 350 rem mag my dad has had a blr 358 mod81 for 20 years i enjoy shooting it very much it shure has put down every animal i have seen harvested with it with definite authority.

The 450 Marlin now there is an Alaskan Bear rifle, if there ever was one. So many ideas come to mind with a left handed BAR.

In addition to the already mentioned 450 Marlin, 358 Win, 350 Rem. Mag.,; there are several others that come to mind: the 35 Whelen, the 338-06, the 416 Taylor. If you really want to wild as in wildcat you could use the 325 WSM case as a necked up to 338, 358, 375, and 416. I'm especially fond of the WSM case necked up to ta 416. With this much powder capacity it should e capable of pushing a 400 grain bullet to just over the magic 2,400 fps that made the 416 Rigby famous.
