well i shot those 45's i got off of yu this evening , i know bit chilly but hey sun was out till 630 almost ,,, anyhow as for your reloading they shot very well , as forthe 45 barrel

? 4-5 in groups 50 yds , best i could mustard out of it sure aint now tack driver, maybe a taxis driver hahhha ill haveto play with it a bit more , anyone got a pet 45 colt load they use in there 45 colt barrels?

i see it bein a 410er all its life if it dont do any better,

Well at least they made it out the barrel :-D :-D :-D

I was not sure how they would shoot with that much throat , Now that you have some empty brass , you may have to load some a little hotter or try a diffrent powder . But you have a starting point .

yeah u got that right, thinkin too of goin with the 300 gr bullets, load them out farther? the round nose flats are all short when loaded , i know they are for mainly cowboy handguns, so maybe the 300;s will help? ill track some down an try them, one guy on ebay sells 300's ,might as well try them,

What about cutting down some 410 hulls and loading them up?

Ya that idea has been kicked around some , i am not sure about pressure levels . But with the right load it may work , it would deff. get the bullet closer to the lands .

A few posts down was one on the 450 mongo which is basicly what we are talking about .
