anyone tried a holograph sight on handi?

I am considering putting a holograph sight on my .357 handi.  I don't really need the amplification in the brush I hunt most of the time, but being quick on target is important sometimes.  Most of these are sold as shockproof.  I was curious if anyone had tried one.  

Also, I know it doesn't give the easy target aquisition, but I am not opposed to a red dot sight.  Any experience here?
