OUCH! It bit me.....

The Marlin bug.  Just added a 925 to my 717M2.  The laminated stocks match perfectly.  An HMR can't be too far off, I can just feel it.  Tomorrow is supposed to get near 40*.  A squirrel's head may become missing at the crack of the Mach 2.  Ahhhhh - the sweet sound of distant impact.
I aim to please - but often miss.

I just purchased a Marlin 883 SS laminate stock.. Thru Gunbroker.. now I am pacing around the house waiting. Cant wait.. Isn't it strange how a forty year old man with a safe full of rare and pricey guns can get excited over a common little 22 mag. A friend of mine just purchased a Savage 93 I beleive the model is.   22 mag. Our range is thirty yards.. It was 100 hundred but we need to get out the bush hog to reclaim it. A wet spring has caused the vegation to explode. That rife shoots a ragged hole at thirty. Hoping the marlin might do well. I have the savage Mark II 22 lr. and that shoots excelent groups at thirty, Thumb nail size.(federal bulk ammo) Some make fun of the inexspensive savage but they shoot. That Marlin just looks so pretty. When I went to get the FFL from my dealer for the transaction ,, he had a Ruger number 1 in 22-250 stainless laminate.. holy crap. I have to stay out of there, What is a guy to do..Now I am counting my change. one word.. ""obsession""....
