Had a good time despite it beign 35 degrees and blowing about 25 out of the NW here in Iowa. I set up the target at 30 yds and started grouping some new loads with 250 gr. cast bullets from Lloyd Smale. I'm going to have to write down which bullets worked well cause I had bullets from two different moulds, one bullet grouped, the other patterned. I shot some 265 gr. bullets of his last weekend and they shot big holes at 25 yds, I'm going to have to order some more of those 265's. The 250's that grouped well grouped about 1 1/2" to 1", it liked 12 gr. of Unique, 14 gr. Unique, and 15 gr. Unique (obviously I was using Unique today:). I got home after putting about 40-50 rounds through it between grouping and target practice on oil bottles, and the leading was hell to get out! It took me half-hour just to clean that on barrel. What is the best way to remove that leading? I used Ed's Red, Kroil, and Hoppe's 9, with a little JB thrown in at the to get the very last bit out, but it sucked! Anyway, let me know if you need loads for this thing, I'm trying all sorts of combinations and having fun doing it!
