G2 Grip ?

What is the difference in the old and the new grips ? The angle or size of the post. I have the G2, and don't know what the original frame really looks like. Has anyone tried to modify an old to new ? Just wondering.  Thanks for any input.

I'm going to look into this.  I'll let you fellows know what I find out.  A trip to the gun shop will probably do it.
