I bought one of the 1-piece ejectors and installed it and the action feels very rough. Is there something you are supposed to do such as fileing it or something? if you have one please let me know what you did. These guns are kind of a pain!

I bought a Bear Proof ejector and installed it in my 1894C. I really didn't notice it being rough, but it didn't seem to eject any better than the factory one. I called WWG and exchanged it for another, no difference. I think the selling point is that it is one piece (versus 2) and less likely to fail. Maybe give them a call.

I've install them in all my levers, and yes they were rough when they were first installed but have smoothed up since. I use a lot of Dave Clays products and in a face to face conversation, he said that he had not seen one fail. In my own experience I have only seen one fail, but at that time no one knew of WWG and it was replaced with another original. Anyways since I had planned to use my rifles for dangerous game I installed them. http://photobucket.com/albums/e118/slikrslik
