Grizzly 45 Win. Mag.
« on: February 25, 2006, 08:55:38 AM »
Gentlemen:

Way back when I was single, and only had a few bad habits, and often had gun-money, I picked up a Grizzly semi-auto in 45 win. Mag. . It was placed it in my fledgling collection with good intentions of wringing it out; but somehow I forgot about it as life picked up speed and complexity (work, wives, kids, etc.)..  Now many years latter, I discovered it while rummaging in the back of my safe. My original thought was a backup for the single shot BP rifles I prefer to hunt with.  All kinds of two and four legged varmints out there and sometimes one shot will not cut it.

Now the question, does any one have any experience with this gun and/or round combination?

Wow. I have been looking for somebody who owns a .45 Win Mag for a long time.

I'm guessing it's the one made by LAR Manufacturing? LAR is literally a stone's throw from my house.

I would LOVE to see pictures of it, if you can share. Heck I'd even be willing to buy it off you, if you were willing to sell it. What sort of loads do you put through that? I was at Cabela's last week and they had some AWESOME looking Winchester SilverTip loads for .45 Win Mag.

PICS, please!!!!
YOU GUYS!!! You guys see the size o' that CHICKEN?!?!?!
