Pretty good! I'd call it "the dirty 4-cuber"...

Sometimes I like my martinis with a little olive juice, sometimes not. I'm throwing garlic-stuffed olives in 'em currently. That last recipe is olive-heavy, which is usually how I like 'em.

Bitters, now there's an idea I'll be trying when I pick up that next bottle of Sapphire. I never thought to throw a dash of bitters in...

I'm back in the gin mood again, so I'll be doing some experimenting in the coming weeks. I gotta try that new Cuervo Black while I'm at it, but that's a whole 'nother cocktail.

New 4-cubers coming soon. Watch this space.

Just poke several Olives or onions down into the full Gin Bottle and reseal !
(can add a cinnamon stick for different flavor)
Leave in freezer a couple of hours and you have a Redneck Martini !
Shaking takes too much effort !

Trenchmud, I like your style!

kyote, I'm sorry I haven't been able to share more recently, but a family emergency will have me busy for awhile... Once I can focus on something else for more than a few minutes I'll drop some recipes on ya to try, as it's obvious we have similar tastes...

Very interesting recipes. I got a shaker for my birthday this year and enjoyed some margaritas. I am looking for an easy margarita recipe since i have only used the store bought mix. Looking for something a little more "homemade". I also enjoy gin on occasion but not to experienced with martinis. I will try some of the mentioned martini mixes.

Why is Henry Rollins glaring at me?  ;D Reminds me, I need to replace the Black Flag tape that my last cassette player ate...

I have a 4-cuber margarita recipe somewhere in this thread.

You also might consider just shaking the Cuervo, Triple Sec, and lime juice in the ice and straining it into a salted margarita glass (or coffee cup, who cares after the first couple, right?) I'd go with about 6 parts Cuervo, then 1.5 parts each of the triple sec and lime juice, maybe more triple sec to taste, depending on whether you want more smoke or more citrus.

I've been enjoying Cuervo Black over ice with a splash of Coke "Blak" lately, aka a "black on black". Very tasty. Cuervo Black Medallion is like tequila and bourbon mixed together, but better. I'm a fan.

So for valentines day some of us decided to make watermelon martini punch.  Very watermelon.

Equal parts (about half the bottle each for the punch)

smirnoff watermelon vodka
badcardi grand melon watermelon rum
watermelon martini mix
cubed watermelon
ice

made a big hit, specially with the girls.
