? on your New Stoplost traps
« on: February 25, 2006, 05:56:52 PM »
I see you did'nt put a delay pin on the chain.
WHY ?
Dont you think a delay pin is nessary?
Next question.
I hav'nt used stoplost traps in over 30 years.
Now I have found a mess of coon in flooded timber. The water where the coon are, is not deep at all. My #2 DLS are not the trap to use here .We know that.
Finley the Question- Would you buy #11's or the Stoplost traps for these coon?
OH---- I for got to say these are southern coon .A monster might go 15-16 pounds ?

Newt, delay pins are a waste of time--not needed.I have went several years without the pin.
These traps will hold coon, especially those puny suckers you are talking about  lol.
But if you are not going to use them for rats, you may want to just go with #11s
