I got my 30-30AI from the custom shop a couple weeks back. 24" bull ss with muzzle brake. 28 grains of 2230C behind 150 winchesters. Lots of fun. The brake really cuts down on the recoil! I put over 80 rounds through it without being sore at all the next day. Plus it was lots of fun to watch the brass go from 30-30 to the AI. Got some 375 win brass prepped to fireform. Only thing I didn't like was have to turn the necks and trim to length. But it should be worth it. That brass should last until I pass the gun onto my grandson. I plan on shooting cast bullets only after fireforming. BTW I am 29 and my son is only 17 months. Dan aka IronMonkey (one of the IHMSA bad monkeys)
