Chompin on the bit??
« on: March 22, 2003, 01:07:01 PM »
I was looking at the pond near me today the ice is still on but starting to breakup maybe by the end of the week I'll be fishin I hope. I'm good to go my last order came from BassProShops yesterday. I got some new stuff to me its called "Stick-o-Worms" I got the 7" size in redshad a super sized worm for sure. I already had the super flukes and flukes in pearl white from a previous order. Lastyear twintail grubs in pearl chartruese or milktruese were hot here. Along with 10" and 12" Culprit worms too. I just can't wait to get out and fish!!!!                            BigBill

I have noticed that every year it gets better the more baits we learn to use.

BigBill,

Ice, why do you guys store your ice in your ponds for?  Out west here we just use it to keep the stuff in the cooler cold.  Hate warm soda's.   :D

Actually the Bass are getting ready to start spawning soon as we get some more warm weather.  This 60 degree isn't going to cut it.  Lawdog

Just though I'd cheer you up a little bit.  Today it's sunny and warm outside, 75 degrees and the forecast is this is supposed to continue for a few more days.  This will help the bass got in the right frame of mind.  Got to sit down tonight and finish dressing up a couple of rods and re-spool three reels.  Hang in there Skipper, spring is coming.  Lawdog
