Could one of the new FN 5.7x28mm pistols be re-barrelled to shoot the 7.62x25mm cartridge?????????????????  Mikey.

I think the 7.62x25 is a bit fatter. Magazine modifications as well as extraction mods would be necessary. That is a HIGH DOLLAR gun
though to be tinkering with modifications, Well out of my reach
when CZ52's are so easy to aquire.

Not to mention the 5.7x28 is a blowback action, not a locked action like the CZ-52 and TT-33. You could do it, but it would take an awful lot of cash.

Guys - thanks.  I took another look at both cases and you are both correct - the modifications would cost more than the pistol.  I just wish someone would make a new pistol in the 7.62x25mm caliber and was thinking that since the new FN round is a bit longer, a FN pistol might be a good platform for it.  Ah well........... Mikey.
