Ok so maybe everyone else already knew this. But after working a deal with my local guy he had me convinced that when my 2 10" barrels got here that the 14" forend wouldn't fit them.
I have planned on simply selling the 14" 223 polished barrel and scope to him, and after all the talk I was going to include the forend since I would have no use for it since according to him it would work on a 10".
Well the selling of the barrel has been put on hold. I want some time to look into some other thing he's said BEFORE I sell the barrel. Had I not layed the old 14" and 10" side by side I would have never notice the the 14" foreend would work.
This and a couple of other shady comment that I know are false are leading me to back out of the sale.
Anyways I am EXTREMELY happy with the .357mag barrel and have a .223 on the way. MUCH better balance, and a really cool look being stocked almost to the muzzle. My only complaint is that the stock plastic fingergrooved grip is absolutely horrible for me. Hard to hold due to it spreading my fingers apart.
