They have been in KY for at least 13 years that i know of.The reason i
know is my sisters little dog came up missing one morning,she looked for the dog all day. That evening she was out on her back porch calling the dog & out of the woods came a wolf snareling & growling. She runs in & tells my brother inlaw & of all the guns he has he grabs a 10/22 runs out & put 10 rnds in the wolf, goes back in puts the gun up then goes back out & the wolf has drug hiself back to the edge of the woods. He runs back in gets the 243 & finishes the wolf. They call the game warden & he tells them there are know wolves in KY & that if there was there was a steep fine for shooting one. My sister called her vet & told the story, he told her that he would send the head off & see if it was a wolf (it did resemble a Husky) When the results came back it was 99.9% wolf, the 0.01 % remaining was were it was kept in captivity at some point & time. The little dog was never found, Could have just as easily been a kid!!
