I know I've seen praise for them before, but I just have to bring it up again.  Henry customer service is amazing, quick, to the point, and you talk to people who get stuff done.  They just take care of you all the way.  Anyone looking for a lever rifle should always look at henry, they way they have taken care of me as a customer makes me feel great.

How the grade of the Walnut on their gunstocks? So many gun manufacturers these days use that plain, ordinary Walnut.

I don't know the "grade", but my H001T had really nice wood...no fiddleback, but really nice, strong "curved" grain.  Looks great without looking gaudy.

I have to agree about their service. I lost a screw when I took one(a 22 magnum) apart for a trigger job. I called them expecting a lecture on why I shouldn't be working on "their" rifle. Instead, the guy was super nice, and in his very strong New York accent he not only said he'd send me one right away, but he was seriously interested in the fact that the trigger had a couple catches before it broke at around 5 lbs. He ageed that that was slighty heavier than he liked, but told me it was a legal issue, and he didn't blame me for taking it down a little. He also gave me a run down on the company, it's manufacturing proccess, their future plans, and quite a bit of other interesting info. We were on the phone for a good 30-45 minutes, and it was a very enjoyable conversation. In about 3 days, I had my screw in the mail free of charge. :)

Disagreeable as I try to be, all of this matches my experience.  I had a nit-picky complaint about the front sight on my Henry 22, sent them a nasty e-mail, and got a phone call from the Company President the next morning!  We talked guns and shooting for awhile, and he offered to send me several new front sights to modify into what I preferred.  I also met him at the NRA convention in St. Louis last month, and he was STILL way too nice for a bigshot.

By the way, the guns are as slick and fun as they can be, and mine shoots as well as my bolt-action 22's.   I originally bought mine for my son, then decided I needed it more!
