I prefer a 36. I have two, one is a Mowery and the other a Southern Mountain influenced flint. Both will cloverleaf at 25 yards, off a bench. There isn't a thing wrong with a 32 and I've owned several over the years. I just prefer the 36 and I believe it's just a bit more versatile caliber than the 32. Both are pretty much regulated to nothing larger than a coyote and them at close range. 20 grs. of Fffg ought to shoot very well in either caliber. For me head shots are still a must as either caliber is quite destructive on small game, even with the moderate 20 gr. load. 40 grs. in a 36 has been a crackerjack of a good load for larger, small critters.
