Besides cost what is the differnce between the elite 3200 and the trophy handgun scopes? Do they have the same eye relief and FOV?
?

I've owned several of both and I'm not sure I know the answer to that question. I presume different lens coatings but to be honest in a side by side comparison I just can't seem to see much difference if any.

"Supposedly" the Eltie 3200 has been built to handle the hard recoling handguns.  I have one on a .454 and it is doing well.  It's been on this revolver for several years now and I've run some heavy loads through it without a hint of a problem.

The only difference I can see is the price. I have 2 Bushnell Trophy's on my 460 Mags. One is on my S&W 460 Mag and the other is on my Encore 460 Mag which was on my BFR 500 Mag before that. My 500 Mag was changed out for a Ultra-dot red-dot. The Bushnell Trophy will hold up under the 460 and 500 Mags. And I shoot them a lot.  :D

The 3200 has 20" of eye relief and a smaller FOV compared to the Trophy with 18" of eye relief.

The Elite comes with Rainguard as well...The Trophy does not.  If it were up to me I would opt for the Trophy though.  I am not worried about the rain on my scope as I use the flip up lens covers anyway.

how will the trophy hold up to 454 Casull full house loads?  I would like to save the money, but I do not want to throw it away either.  Nikon has a lifetime on their variable power scopes, but it is the same price as the 3200.  $258.

Here is what I wrote above, and I am sure if they hold up to my 460 Mag and 500 Mag, the 454 Casull will not be a problem.
