OK prairie poodles

Went prairie dog shooting in SW Kansas last year.  Was wondering whether to go back there again this year or maybe see what Oklahoma had to offer.  To those of you who went on the Graybeard prairie dog shoot last year, whereabouts in the Sooner State did you go?  Was it public land or private?  Lotsa dogs or not?

All private land. Seemed like a lot in some places and not so many in others. Nothing like the huge towns I've read of in other areas tho. We were in the two western most couties of the OK panhandle. I'd think it kinda hard to get permission tho unless you were a local as it's not just a matter of knocking on a door next to them to ask. Owner might be quite some ways off. None of the places we went wanted us there without a local they knew with us at all times.
