Herret dies?
« on: March 24, 2003, 11:38:51 AM »
Do any manufacturers make neck sizing dies for the 30 Herret or 357 Herret? Or am I stuck with full length resizing?

T/C nimrod,
I believe that Hornady and some others make "universal" neck sizing dies for the most popular calibers. My brother got a "short universal" neck die for his 6mm TCU and he uses it on the 6mmx30-30 wildcat as well. I am sure that I have seen them in 30 caliber. The 35 caliber might be a bit tougher but you could always use a carbide sizer for 357 or 38 to neck size the 357 Herrett (carefully).

Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.
