OT...SNOW DAY...YEE HA!
« on: March 13, 2006, 05:52:57 AM »
Sorry, just couldn't resist.  We're gettin' hammered today.  I got in at 6 and was home by 9.  They pulled all the trucks off the road and sent us home.  Only happened twice in 17 years at my company...both in '91.
YeeHa.

I hate snow--I shoveled enough for 2 lifetimes growing up in New York.

Folks move up here from California, and complain about the rain.

You don't hafta shovel rain.

It's been a while since I posted on here but I had to chime in on this one.  We are getting hammered with snow.  I live 8 miles from work and decided to ride the snowmobile in!  Made it in record time!  First time I have ever done this and I think I will have to do it again, a good adrenaline rush beets a cup of coffee any day for waking me up.

Bldr Bob,
I live in Apple Valley.  Work in Lakeville so no trouble gettin' in but they decided to pull all the trucks in and save all the tow charges and chance for accidents.
Enjoy the ride home, neighbor!
