...and I will NEVER do that again! I didn't realize they were THAT expensive   I always liked the convinience of them, but $165 is WAYYY to much.  Next year I'll just go back to buying only what I'll actually use and saving my money.

its a license that gets you gun deer, fishing, small game, apps taken care of for turkey, waterfowl, park stickers and pretty much everything other than fed stamps, and archery deer or trapping.

you really have to utilize all of the items to make it an actual savings to purchase.  one cool thing with it though is that you dont haveto remeber to apply for turkey and you get your pheasant tags for areas in which you have to tag them(serious restoration areas for pheasant).

Hmmm, here in Bama all that's covered under your basic $19 state hunting license. No tags, no extras unless you want to hunt the WMAs which requires a $16 permint but most folks don't so don't pay that.

I'd never get used to one of the states that have separate fees and tags and licenses for every thing you do. On that $19 license I can hunt with bow, rifle, shotgun or handgun or even spear iffen I were of a mind to. I can hunt for deer, turkey, small game, waterfowl, varmints and anything legal to hunt in the state. Can take one buck a day from Oct. 15 to Jan. 31 iffen I can find him and where I'm at for 45 days can take two does or a buck and a doe daily with gun and you can do that all season long with bow. Can take five or six turkeys, I forget but with no tags no one really keeps a count anyway.

Makes me wonder if the Alabama Game and Fish folks can get by on such small fees and we can shoot so much game why the other states can't.

because you guys are blessed...lol

seriously its gettin so ugly here with fees and the complication of rules that one needs to dang near hunt with a lawyer just to know if you are doing it right.  i dont set out to break laws....but i let my own personal ethics be my guide anymore in this state.
