I have been using it in a 45 colt load for a while and have started to use it in 45-110 clean up usually takes two wet patches and two dry patches and the bore is back to shiny then a little coat of clp, I have loaded full house 40 Grain loads in 45 colt and will state for the record that they are stout but no more tha Pyrodex, or BP BUT when using BP I use 3f for 777 I use 2f the 3f loads I tried were imprinting the primers metal was flowing into the firing pin window! the 2f loads don't do that, on the 45-110 I use the 2f as well and it works great I have jammed 110 grains in it and works just fine but my shoulder didn't approve of it so I backed it down to 85 Gr.
the 45 Colt I settled on 30 Gr 2F with a 200 grain bullet and a generous crimp.....
