Which rings for Mueller Eradicator?

Which rings do I need to mount a 8-25x50 Eradictor on a Savage 12BVSS W/heavy fluted barrel?
I want to use Burris 2 piece base and Burris standard or signature rings.  

Are the high rings high enough?

Do I need extended rings?

Is it really worth it to bet the signature rings over the standard?

The Signature rings are certainly worth it to me, no chance of damage to the scope, no lapping of rings and you have the option of using their offset inserts if needed for alignment issues, and for the little difference in price right now, it only makes sense, Midway has em on sale!!
