:D Sure you can install iron sights on your handi....All you need is a good gun smith...And he can help you out with a good quallity front sight that would work well with that peep....Good luck they shoot great with iron sights too...

I've discussed this with someone else on another forum, you may have problems seeing the sights over the scope rail and ring mount, even see thru. One of the Handis I bought came with see thru rings, a rear sight would need to be pretty high for it to be useable.

The Gun Source has the RSR straight stocked .270 with iron sights, it would be a good alternative to the .'06.

Maybe I am the odd duck here, but I can shoot my .44 with iron sights and the scope rail no problem.

H&R charges $47(old price, may have increased since??) to add iron sights to a barrel that doesn't come with them normally, do a search, I did.

It just depends on the sight height.

i thought you could get the scope rail switch for the iron sites, then just buy the scope rail for $15.

Mitchell, they will do that for a barrel that normally comes with iron sights like a .45-70 or 44mag, but for them to drill and tap a barrel for F&R sights, plus provide the sights, which aren't cheap(cept for the plastic front sights on the .500S&W!! ), they're gonna want more money.
