  I have run across a Marlin mdl 25 .22 caliber clip fed in very very nice shape. I have no idea the value of this rifle. I would appreciate any help you could give me.

About 10 yrs ago I paid $35 for one in good condition. lately Ive seen them go from $50 to $120 depending on condition. Ive been very happy with mine. DR.

 You were right on the price of this gun. I traded for it the next day after I made this post. I took it to a big gun show on Sat. with me and was amazed at how many people was interested in it.  I brought it back home with me. The lowest offer I had was 65.00 and the highest was a 100.00 Probably should have sold it But I just had to shoot it before I let go.

I bought a model 25 about a year and a half ago.  It was in real nice condition.  It is very accurate about the same as my CZ and Jw-15.  I paid $90 for it.  I would buy another like it if I could find one.  It is a great rabbit hunting rifle.

In addition to picking up decent Mod 25's, I also keep a lookout for the Glenfield versions.  I have a Glenfield Mod 20 and Mod 25. The difference is that one (I forget which at the moment) comes with non-detachable sling swivels.  Each are identical to my Marlin Mod 25 of the same era.  

The price books generally list the Glenfield models as having less value and I've seen them price accordingly.

I was told that the only difference between a Marlin 25 and a new 925 was the fact that the Receiver is drilled and tapped in addition to being grooved.  I recently bought a new 925 and so far am pleased with performance and price.
